Hellene Travel has been requested on several occasions to arrange Tours for small groups and for adults travelling independently.

Our long experience, extensive knowledge of Classical Sites and other Cultural Venues in addition to the Safety Management System created for Schools (but equally applicable to Adult Groups) ensures a high level of competency and customer satisfaction.

“We had led parties and visited the main sites in Greece many times, and wanted to go off the beaten track – just the two of us. As we planned this your ideas and recommendations were such a help. We experienced some amazing things we would not have thought of. In Athens you gave us tips on less frequented but fascinating places; you helped us redesign our route around the Peloponnese, with advice and detailed notes about what to include (and what to avoid!). So we visited Loutraki and the fascinating site near Perachora, had momentous mountain drives, stayed in the Miramare Hotel at Pylos with its beautiful view across the bay to Sphacteria, and spotted the cult column base at Bassae! Thank you!” Peter and Pam Levell

“We had a great time - (25th Wedding Anniversary) - thanks to your smooth organisation and my husband hasn’t stopped talking about it. We did a lot more sightseeing than I originally planned mainly because Colin loves to get the most out of a holiday! Once again, I do appreciate all you did for us. Many Thanks” Nikki Matthews

“Dad is doing really well and still reminiscing re excellent holiday he had in Greece!” Alison Green

For the Adult Traveller wishing to experience the delights of a Classical Tour we are happy to discuss your requirements and suggest an Itinerary and Route to include venues both more easily accessible and ‘off the beaten track’.

SUITABILITY OF CLASSICAL TOURS FOR TRAVELLERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

We are more than willing to help customers with special requirements as advised.

However, please note –

i - as much of central Athens and Rome is limited to traffic, the greater part of a City Tour will be on foot and wheelchair access is often limited

ii - some Sites (e.g. Nemea, Olympia, Corinth, Paestum, Pompeii, Agrigento) are relatively flat but others (e.g. Delphi, Athens Acropolis, Mycenae, Lato, Vesuvius, Cumae) involve steep climbs on uneven surfaces

iii - most Sites, Hotels, Restaurants, Coaches and marine transport are introducing wheelchair access and routes, but implementation is somewhat in its infancy

iv - Hotels and Restaurants will honour special dietary requests to the very best of their ability

v - Allergy Sufferers are strongly advised to contact the following
