 Hellene Travel Ltd. was set up as an Independent Company in 1999 largely as a response to requests by fellow Classical Teaching Colleagues wishing to tailor-make individual Study Tours relevant to specific syllabus and module options. From the outset we have benefited from the support of the British School at Athens (www.bsa.gla.ac.uk/) with whom we are associated. We deal only with Greek and Roman Archaeological and Cultural Sites in the Mediterranean. All Itineraries are tailor-made to meet the needs of individual customers – duration, budget, numbers, syllabus - and stamina! Our knowledge and flexibility enable us to adapt to the needs of those wishing to concentrate on specifics e.g. Drama, Art, Mathematics etc We are also more than happy to create bespoke programmes for Adults wishing to enjoy Independent Holidays either as part of a Group Tour or as an individual Fly Drive. For those wishing to organise their own Flights – we are happy to organise accommodation only.  Consequently, we do not produce a Brochure. With over 25 years experience in Teaching and Examining in a Senior position and coordinating and leading Overseas Tours, we can advise on the individual requirements of Schools, SMT, Teaching Staff, pupils and parents. We allow greater freedom to experienced Group Leaders but also specialise in ‘hand holding’ for the inexperienced. In addition, we produce our own Teachers Good Practice Guide, a result of decades of personal experience ‘in the front line’ and also an up to date guide on Sites, Museums and other venues. |
